At Costa Oriental we take on leadership with great responsibility.
As innovators in the logistics sector, we carry out initiatives that contribute to society
with a focus on education.
Work Training Center Costa Educa
Since 2012, we developed Costa Educa, a Work Training Center, that provides training in logistics as a way to promote development opportunities and job placement for people that live in neighborhoods nearby our facilities.
Costa Oriental goes to school
Since 2008, we have set out to teach logistics activities to young people. Year after year, public and private elementary and high school students visit our facilities.
Acting in solidarity with the community
Every year we collaborate on several social projects that seek to offer a higher quality of life to thousands of Uruguayan children, including: Cimientos Foundation, School Nº 157 Villa García, “Los Alfareros” CAIF Center, Peluffo Giguens Foundation and Telethon Foundation.
At Costa Oriental, we also believe in social responsibility towards our employees
and have a full agenda of activities.
Healthy Living Talks
Since 2010 we have held a series of Talks on Healthy Living with focus on prevention attended by 200 employees each year. In addition, we promote the practice of physical activity through various actions.
Back to School
A tradition at Costa Oriental is to hand out backpacks stocked with school supplies for all pre-school, elementary school and high school children of our employees a few days before the start of classes.
Children’s Day
Every August we celebrate Children’s Day together with the little ones of the Costa Oriental family with a day of activities and games. We love receiving our children in the company and that they can feel part of their parents’ workplace.
