1983

Foundation

Daniel Carriquiry (Director Costa Oriental), Orlando Dovat Pons (Director Zonamerica), and Orlando Dovat Mela founded Costa Oriental.

1984

Colonia Free Zone

Began activities in Colonia Free Trade Zone as Direct User.

1992

Zonamerica

Founding partner and start of operations in Zonamerica as the first Direct User.

1997

Katoen Natie

Katoen Natie Seaports Terminals (Belgium) acquires part of the shareholding package of Costa Oriental and Zonamerica, and subsequently in 2001, of the Container Terminal of the Port of Montevideo (TCP).

1999

Costa Park I

Inauguration of Costa Park I, the first phase of 10,000 m2 of the Regional Distribution Center.

2000

Costa Logística

Inauguration of Costa Logística, responding to the needs of local clients and exporters.

2008

Costa Park II

Inauguration of Costa Park II, the second phase of the Regional Distribution Center, reaching 25,000 m2 of constructed warehouses.

2012

Costa Park III, IV

Inauguration of Costa Park III and Costa Park IV, totaling 40,000 m2.

2014

Costa Oriental Paraguay

Inauguration of Costa Oriental Paraguay, the first step in the internationalization process.

2016

Inauguration of the new Farmazona

5.000 m2 with GMP certification.

2020

Obtaining the AEO Certification

We are recognized by the National Customs Directorate as an Authorized Economic Operator, complying with the required security and control standards.

2025

Construction of Costa Park V

We increased our capacity by 25% with the construction of an additional 10,000m2.
