In recognition of Costa Oriental’s long standing service to Japanese companies and with the objective of further collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, Ambassador Tatsushiro Shindo, met with our CEO and toured our facilities.
Ambassador Shindo has over 35 years’ experience in various high level positions within JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and assumed his current position as Ambassador of Japan in Uruguay in March 2018. During the visit he was very interested in the core benefits for Japanese companies, including logistics optimization, risk reduction and flexibility via value added activities and customization. We agreed to work together to promote Costa Oriental and Uruguay with future visits from Japanese business and also the organization of conferences.
We welcome Ambassador Shindo and his team to Uruguay and look forward to working together in the future.
